Message: is it worth supercharging my 2003 3.9? and if it is is there a kit or will i blow my stock internals apart? and if i did do it how much PSI could i hold for street use and how much HP & Ft/LBs or torque could i gain? or maybe even a turbo?
Message: There are a few kits for these trucks. If you want to build peices yourself, you can spend 2500+. If you want a bolt on kit, plan on spending 4k+.
If properly tuned, you can run 7-10 psi on the stock engine, and can expect anywhere from 30-60% gains in power.
Alot of the gains depend heavily on what system you go with, and how much you spend on tuning.
