Message: it's really very simple. mount the temp guage where you want it. run the wire to the tranny temp guage. heres your problem. you need a place to tap in the sender to monitor the tranny fluid temp. your options are either buying an aftermarket tranny pan that is tapped for the sender, or you can splice in a block (that is tapped for the sender) in the existing fluid line that runs to the radiator.

Message: third option. Remove the original pan. Measure twice and drill once . Install a thread incert by brazing or having it brazed. You can even braze a nut into the hole.Drill it so the nut fits snug in the hole to hold in place. Better yet round the edges of the nut making it round. Again, you want it to fit the hole snug. This last way is best as it makes it easy to braze. It's the cheapest way to go and workes well. Just be sure you drill where nothing is in the way inside the pan.
So many problems .... So little time
