I intalled a KN Cool air intake on my 2003 Quad Cab 4.7 My super chip will be here fri. The gibson side swept 3incher and shorty headers will be here in two weeks Good start? I hope cause i broke now lol.will those combas improve my performace?And should i wait for the exhaust system to show up and install the chip then or when i first recieve the chip?

Most of the gain from the intake will be at higher revs. What transmission ? Superchip seems to have more gains with an auto; I think the manuals come with more spark advance from the factory. Replacing the restrictive y-pipe with those exhaust changes ? That's where the real bottle neck is. Did you consider a cam change ? More power per $ there than most of your planned mods.

I reicieved the super chip its great .Its a automatic I didnt really think a y pipe would matter am i wrong? If so Can i get one that fits gibson headers I saw none on gibsons web site. Apr.The abvice.
