I bought flowtech headers. I kept hearing this noise so i nosie so i took it in to the dealer. And I got some more info on the problem when i picked the truck up. They said the header was hitting the braker buster box. That's the round cylinder on the drivers side. When the engine moves a little the header hits it. I was thinging about puting the thermo wrap tap on the header and mabye it would cushion the hit. Any ideas? My truck is a 1999 5.2L.

No ideas on the header situation but when are you coming to Sac? Or is it Roseville?

the brake booster?i dont like the sound of anything that hot being so close to your braking system.heat is a major part of brake failure so make sure you resolve the problem.
good luck

Whats a brake buster box? maybe you mean brake booster or the brake proportioning valve? maybe you can move this brake buster or a little dimple in the header or if you have too you can put a shim on the motor mount to raise the side thats touching a bit
