And now I finally fixed it. Made ya scared when you saw the title I asume. Well here is the write up...
Here are some pics of my custom setup
DeWalt compressor + a 15 or so gallon water tank to hold the extra air needed by the HVLP gun.
Im just getting ready to paint
Second coat...
And I think its pretty much covered...
Primer and hardner
Here is my ventalation system
I got the Base coats done. Its looking great. I took some pics after the second base coat..here they are.
I did another coat after those pics so that gray you see in that grill is gone now. I wasnt an easy task painting in between that grill and trying not to run. I didnt get any runs and its covered so I guess I did a good job. Just did some real short stokes.
After some wetsanding and some clear coating and some more sanding I got it finished Its all done and on the truck. I really like the new headlights too. They are actually clear and not yellow. Looks alot better than factory. Here are the pics...
