Oh stop trying to talk me into it you sucka!!! LOL!

You know I'm waiting to see how YOURS holds up first :) And I'm wanting to do the turbo on my car first.

plus I already have done all the work of duals on my Dak. I think a SC would be in order for it. But those are not cheap, so who knows what the future holds. But I can't go crazy with my Dak yet as it has to tow close to 8,000 Lbs reliably!

Rammer lives right up the street, I can still help turn wrenches on his. As long as his wifey lets him come outside to play that is :D

Graphite...You should stop being a pussy and turbocharge your quadcab. Lol. That way you can test it out on your truck so when you get that duster running you will know how to tune it. You could probally supercharge it for under 1500 if you can get used parts. If you make your own bracket than you could buy any headunit from ebay or where ever. Last time I checker they are going for about 900 brand new for good ones like the paxton Novi 2000, 1200, And the vortech's D series. Than all you need would be to make a bracket, Intall a BTM, run a inline fuel pump and an FMU. You wouldnt have to worry about towing. Mine doesnt really make boost unless my foots to the floor. I towed my freinds old C10 truck about 10 miles and it did fine. I think those trucks are pretty heavy too.

Its whats under the hood that counts........

Now a S/C would be doable. Defenitely. I wouldn't have to mess with my exhaust again!!!

Making brackets wouldn't bother me. I have a welder and all that stuff too.

If I could get a head unit for $900 (NEW) that would be cool. If you have any links to where let me know. I had a hard time finding head units for under $1000 since so many places rip you off!

Anyway. We just had another baby, so any mods are OUT for right this second. But later in the year or next early summer especially if I have a good week making some comissions at work to pay for it...

You just gotta look around and find a good deal. I got my kit for 1500, Which included the headunit, Bracket, Intake, Air hat, BTM, Extra injectors, and a lot of other odds and ends.

Its whats under the hood that counts........

mopar318,

that's a mean looking GenII you got there. I've got a 92 that needs a lot of work ... so I'm envious.

I bet you surprise a lot of guys.

I'm getting ready to retire mine and start a rebuild.

Not bad of a deal on eBay if the price stays right.

I bet that S/C 5.2 just screams in that early gen RC Dak you have. You probably weigh a good 1,000 Lbs less than mine! It must get squirrly at times.

Right now I'm at a stand still. Wife isn't working and we have a 3rd kid now...
