I believe it's around 5000lbs...but that would also depend on rear-end gearing and manual or automatic trans.

Message: I think it is 3950 for the V6. Regardless, I would not tow 5000 lbs without electronic trailer brakes. Once you start towing something equivalent (or more in this case) to the weight of the tow vehicle. it gets hairy. Need to look at the local laws and understand what GVWR (Gross vehicle weight rating), GAWR (Gross axle weight rating) mean.
I towed a 16', 2200lb camper trailer last May, it did not have any trailer brakes (not even the piston on the tongue like Uhaul has). If would have toasted the brakes if I had an auto. Had to allow extra space behind vehicles, etc. NO SUDDEN stops.
Going will not be a problem, stopping will. Uhaul has a book that will have good safe maximum towing weights for your vehicle. Their rule is the tow vehicle needs to be 1000 lbs heavier than the load being towed.
