Message: Hi i just got my flowmaster installed tonight. its a super 40 with duals, and after all the posts i saw about it on this site i thought it was gonna be obnoxious, but it's actually quite mellow? I only have the cat and the muffler...i wanna know how to make it a little more louder. heres the real question...does getting an aftermarket highflow Cat (magnaflow?) increase the sound at all? i dont wanna remove it...

Think about how it would be if you could never again experience.....quiet.
Tinnitus.

Message: a.) Removing the catalytic converter is most likely against the law.
b.) Dodge cat's are pretty free flowing.
c.) Dodge uses a special, expensive cat.
d.) You'll grow up. Hearing loss is cumulative.
e.) I always play a symphony loud.

Message: Take five, I understand. Basie, I understand. Most Jazz is way over my head. On the other hand, look at how much of todays music came from Jazz.

Message: yes the flowmaster super 40 isn't that loud in the cab. don't do anything with the cat, it doesn't change the sound or performance enough to make it worth doing. like people say the cat on the dodge trucks flows well.

Shatto is right, trucky.
You're still young and indestructible, but Tinnitus isn't something you want. Mine's so bad I gotta have a radio or TV on to drown it out just so I can fall asleep. There are no quiet places any more.
