i have a 2004 4.7 dakota, ext cab 2wd auto.
what are my computer options. i just put in ho cams, already had exhaust and have 4.10 gears on the way. the advance timing would help it i'm sure. what are my options? and
which one do you recomend?

The Superchips programmer seems to be the best for the Magnum engines. You can get them the cheapest on Ebay; they are 289.00 dollars IIRC.

superchips isn't out for 04 dakota.
i'm looking for a custom flash.
has anyone had good sucess with custom flash for the 4.7
i've heard of leech and b&g.
has anyone bought these before and do they work?

Well i know the leach flash will not work past 02 i think. Whenever the two ecu and tcm where incorporated together.

You could try calling about the leach flash. I have a 2000 4.7 and he just took my top speed governor off. Give him a call. He'll need to know the numbers off your computer to see if he can do it but, like i said above, i think you are outa luck. Give'em a try though, (714) 639 5220, ask for Tom.

I actually called Tom today to see if he could help me out with a problem I'm having with my blower. I asked him about his flashes and he said if your computer has 3 plugs he can do it. If it has 4 then no.
