ok so i was driving down the road and my oil pressure gauge drop to 0 but when i let off the gas it went right back up to 40 and has been doing that for a few days now but my engine is still running fine and the temp is the same. waht do yall think is the problem? is it just the gauge or could it be my oil pump? or what?

you need to take it to a shop and have them test is with an analog gauge. If you have hit 0 PSI for any ammout of time you are doing MAJOR damage to your bearings

Any of em.
Crankshaft, connecting rods& wristpins, camshaft.
If you get a knocking sound, like you might occasionally get starting after it sat for a four day weekend, that lasts more than a few seconds, shut it off. Period! Do not run it until the problem is corrected.

Forseti,
Like you I'm helping Ol Jon come up with a solution to his problem.
I suggested he go to 10 pounds because I was thinking it related to this line of conversation.
As to the products; how about because I am passing on my story in hope it'll help someone else save a buck and get better performance like I did. I happened to do it with the 'A' product but, hey, I'll credit Dodge too!

Jon..... you need a min of 6PSI at curb idle... and 30PSI min to 80PSI at 3000 RPM with the correct oil weight in it... 10-W30
