Subject: Tranny problem IP: Logged
Message: Alright i was driving down the road one day and all of a sudden the engine revs uo and i slowly start losing speed. Well i pull over, turn the truck off, back on, and when i put it in gear, i makes a wierd grinding noise. I checked the fluid running in nuetrul, all good there. I wonder if anyone was had this problem. This happend right after a big snow storm and some bigger wheeling. it is a 1989 3.9 v6 auto tranny.
thanks

Message: you may well be looking to deep here. Most guys do. I think the storm/4wheeling is the pronlem some how. Most likely water/mud got into something. Most likely a wire plugin or a vacuum hose got damaged. Always start with the easy answers. Be surprised how often things work out
So many problems .... So little time
