Subject: Clunking noise IP: Logged
Message: I have a 2002 R/T and since it was about a year old I have been getting this "Clunking" noise whenI make a turn (especially Right) while doing about 10"-20 MPH. The dealer has changed both upper ball joints...the noise remains. One service tech told me it was the link ends - he said he would brush some "lube" on them - later that day here comes the "clunk". ANYBODY got a similar experience? - please help

Message: I have a 99 R/T and mine did the same thing. It turned out to be a bolt stripped out on my right front caliper. Just letting you know what caused mine.

Message: Smitty, I've heard the lower ball joints can cause the same noise.
