Im trying to balance top speed with acceleration, not as easy a task as i thought. Im looking towards only drag strip racing with a 360 motor, i dont want it to top out to quickly but i want to get to that top right at the end of the 1/4 while still being able to hook tires(including dropping tire PSI) The motor is reved up close to 7000 rpm(yes i expect to be rebuilding it *A LOT*). Im not sure if i should go with a 36" drag slick and a 4.56 or better final drive or what? any ideas?
