Message: My 318 has a few miles on it and I was wondering if there is a way to tell where a cylinder is leaking compression at - valves or piston rings?

Message: go buy a compression test or have one done. each cylinder should be within 0-10% difference of each other. i think in the 150psi range but correct me if im wrong.

Message: THX for the input - my 318 has 189000 miles and still runs hard - no oil burning. I will be getting that compression tester here soon. Do I turn the engine over w/o starting it - like pull the coil wire?
