The Flowmaster 40 doesn't sound horrible, it sounds really good, it's just loud.

Love the Magnaflow cat back on my 2000 4.7!! I don't think any of them really give you much power though.

I notice a nice increase in low-end torque going with the Magnaflow duals. I'm very happy with the way it performs and sounds.

I had the Borla on my '01 and it sounded great. I'll admit though, that listening to Anthony's Magnaflow makes me want to go that route on my new Dakota.

eh Ive got a dynomax ultra flow single in dual out. I think it gave me a little low end. real deep rumble I get nothing but compliments and no one knows what you've got under the hood. I line up against cars I know will beat me and they won't even race and I've got a 4x4.

i put the magnaflow dual in dual out on my 4.7 and just firing up my truck is a treat. good low end sound; deep and mean. no resonance and my ride is a little smoother. i strongly suggest magnaflow

I've got a dynomax ultra flow 3" on my 2000 R/T R.C. It sounds effin a. Trust me , it's deep and throaty, yet has a nice rumble. Mind you my entire exhaust is done.(PPH headers, into a 3" cat, 3" mid pipe to a 3" mufler(the one stated)to a 3" tailpipie). I've got a few other mods, but the last time I brought it to the track, it was by far the fastest Dak there. You don't need duels for better flow, a simple engineering calculation can prove a well thought out single can out flow better.

Gibson.

Had the dual rear on my 2000 2wd, now I have the dual sport on my 03 4wd... They sound killer with no interior resonance...

Well nobody has thrown Gibson in the mix so i will,Sounds great not to loud but a nice low growl, cant hear it at all unless you accelerate then its pure music and the guy next to you is looking around for the hot rod that just cut loose and when you bring it back to idle......nothing.

badassdak,
I have a magnaflow catback on my 99 CC 5.2 V8 4x4.
Its a single 2.5" in Dual 2.25" out, and it sounds great. And I put a magnaflow highflow cat on to. Just adding the cat made my exaust sound even better. I personally would go with magnaflow.
The system I have is all stainless, Manderell Bent pipes, 3.5" tips. check out the magnaflow website at ( http://www.magnaflow.com/)
