 Subject: Tin-can tranny noise!!

I have an 02' CC R/T with some tranny noise. When it shifts from 2nd to 3rd it sounds like there's a tin can rattling around in the case or against a gear or something. IT only dose it for a second. Dose it everytime though, weather I take it easy or get in it. Seems to louder though upon hard acceleration. I can hear it also when I decelerate. Anybody have any input on this?? It's driving me crazy!

jslate, If you ever find out what it is, please post it. I have a 97, 3.9L, auto that does the exact same thing. It only does it when shifting from 2nd to 3rd or from 3rd to 2nd. It sounds like it is coming from the engine bay though.

Why would only do it whenever it shifts between 2nd and 3rd then?
