Message: Anybody know how much extra torque and Hp gain I can expect from Comp cams Extreme energy or High energy cams.
Also do I have to change the pushrods, lifters and valve springs? Anything else that should be changed?

Message: They don't make High Energy rollers, but you could get a custom roller to the H.E. specs. I suspect you're looking at the Xtreme Energy cams on the same page. These are flat tappet cams like the High Energy line. You can't use them either, but CC has three Xtreme Energy roller cams. The base unit (XR258R-12 --I'd venture maybe 25 peak HP with no other mods, but a fuller torque curve throughout the rpm range) is fine with the stock computer, the other two need computer mods, but also yield more HP. Yes, change the other parts as well. The roller lifters will work, but they're not as precise as aftermarket units. Springs are a must, HD pushrods as well. The stockers flex at higher lifts, and that just cheats you.
