Subject: IAT mod and Superchips IP: Logged
Message: Am I correct in the assumtion that if you have the Superchips programmer there is no need to do the IAT relocation mod? By relocating the sensor you are tricking the computer into advancing the timing and fuel which is what the Programmer will do as well. When using both mods is it possible to over advance the engine? I have read some posts about people who have done both mods and are experiencing pinging even when they use higher octane fuel with the octane booster.

When I dynoed on the 87 oct. SC program, and then did a run with turning my IAT adjuster 'on',
