 Subject: brake 'clunk'

So I need to replace my front brakes mucho bad. I've noticed recently when I release the brake pedal,,,especially when it's hot outside, I hear a loud/solid 'clunk' from my front left. This only happens when I let off the brake. Could this be it sticking?,,fluid level is good. Any opinions are welcome,,,I'm thinking the caliper is likely shot too. Rotors are warped to hell and back,,and they are squealing pretty good too. All just started happening in the last week or two.
