Message: Hey all,
I'm stationed in Germany now, & just recieved my truck from the shippers. I cruised from Wiesbaden, Ge to Hanau (about 65 miles) averaging about 115 mph. That was awesome!! All those little BMWs & VWs just seem to move out of your way when you ease up behind them at 100 + (might be the fact that I'm about 3x their height.) I'm still looking for a good deal on the 4.7 L HO cams & intake, so if anyone has a good line on a dealership that ships internationally, I'd appreciate it. May even be willing to share some of this German beer for some help.

Message: I am sure it is fun passing them Germans in a Dakota, I bet you can't wait to doctor the motor up with them cams and Manifold, they will hear something rumbling up behind them, and pass them at 120, screaming, with a low bellow American Muscle sound.
must be fun, to show them an American Dodge Pickup,
one damn fine truck at that.

Message: Bubba,
You done brought up some sweet memories of my time in Frankfurt. While I wasn't sporting any American muscle at the time, a roommate had a li'l Escort GT and it was pretty sweet cruising the 'bahn at 100+. Best we could do in the Army CUCV's was 80mph downhill with a tailwind.
Had a Sgt with a German SAAB and we would cruise the 'bahn at 160 quite often....ohhhh the memories.
Been to Sachsenhausen in Frankfurt yet?

Message: I think I'm gonna' have to back out of it for a while. A fill up cost me $50.00 on Thursday, & I'm already down to 1/2 a tank with 168 miles on the trip meter. This haulin' a$$ is a hoot, but having to fill up every 5 days will suck. I know there's a few Dak drivers over here, so let's hear from you.
