Ok I just bought a V8 TB becasue I have the awesome V6 and I was wondering if the TPS Mod had any effect since I have a Manual Transmission. Since I'm gonna be removing my TB I figured I might as well try it until I started thinking about it. Will it do anything or is it just best for automatics? Thanks for any help.

If the voltage is within factory specs it's not worth the trouble. It doesn't matter whether you have an auto or manual. It doesn't hurt to do it, just don't be surprised if you don't notice the difference.

Here's what the TPS mod does:

It reduces the signal range from idle to WOT by raising the idle voltage and therefore compressing the voltage range of the signal sent to the computer. It fools the computer into enriching the mixture at low RPMs (just off-idle), which gives the impression of more throttle response. In other words, it reduces the sensitivity of the gas pedal vs throttle response, runs richer and therefore adds a tiny bit of power to the low-end range.

It will have little effect on, or slightly worsen, gas mileage and emissions.

Sorry, meant to say that it increases the sensitivity of the gas pedal by reducing its resolution. So you lose the "fine touch" a little.

To that you can also add the theory that the computer adjusts to a new baseline voltage and assumes that is the closed throttle position.
