Subject: Tranny upgrade or torque converters? IP: Logged
Message: My problem was when i'm at full throttle and my tranny goes from 1 to 2 gear the tranny slip.
I have a supercharged 4,7 with a 45RFE tranny.
I don't found any shift kit or converter for this tranny. Do you know where a can find it or what I have to do? I don't want to open the tranny and change part in it...
If i can find a torque converter with a stall at 2200. I think it will help

Message: If the tranny is really slipping, you need more than a torque converter or kit. If it's just the slow shifting that is bothering you, a kit would be the thing to put in first and then the converter. APS also has a shift kit.
