how can I make a Gas Motor spurt out Black smoke like a diesel?
is it ussual to see a gas motor throw black smoke when downshifting? or hitting the gas?

ya it is only when the rings are shot or you desperatly need an oil change?

I was kidding, I know it isn't good if a gas motor does that.
I was just saying that because I was riding down the road and this Chevy K2500 was behind me, and black smoke came out of his tail pipes when he shifted,
I Immedietly said, that guy has a 6.5L Turbo Diesel. (because it wasn't a new Chevy style, it was a 98 or so(non-Duramax))
I thought maybe he had a 454, because I forgot all about the 6.5, I think everyone has.
he was riding my ass when I was in my Dak, so I dumped the clutch in 2nd gear, and he was still behind me, till I hit 3rd, and i was pretty far from him them, I lost him quick.
the low end in his truck seemed to be pretty good, so I thought, "yea he probably has a diesel".
he had to have had it built up some, to even hang with my dak for a second or 2.

I am a Dodge Lifer,
I will always buy a Dodge and strive to make it faster and faster.
and quicker and quicker.
I really was surprised to see a 6000 pound truck run like that, it reminded me of a Cummins.

I looked at yer pics, your engine looks as dirty as mine,
so at least I know I am not the only one with a Dirty Dak Motor.
