Message: "only v8 in it's class" With the possible exception of the Tacoma, isn't it the only truck in its class? I mean if it was as small as an s10 it probably wouldn't have a v8 in it.

Message: I just had the opportunity to hammer one of these Colorados. He followed me up the autobahn entrance, tailgating me of course, then jumped straight in the hyperspace lane. I floored it, and it looked like he put the brakes on. I figure it was about as close as it could have been for an actual side by side comparison. He had the double cab Z-71, and mine is a crew cab AWD, 4.7. I kind'a expected a little more from him.

Message: listening to little ankle biting lap dogs argue over who is the biggest little dog. You can argue all you want over midsized trucks. But a midsize is just that no matter what you compare it to.

Message: It just depends on what you have to do with it and where. I have to pull up 7 of 8000 lbs and get in and out of a small turn around space. Plus I like something that will really handle. None of the other mid size will really pull and the 1500's are too big with no better performance for work. None of the little guys will haul 1850 lbs in the bed nore will most of the 1500's. Its real hard to beat a Dak for versitility.
