Message: I know alot of people run these spark plugs, but for some reason in my truck they keep blowing up and causing a misfire. Could it be because of my MSD ignition? it says on the ignition not to use solid core spark plugs. I just then changed my distributor cap, rotor button and wires. Any suggestions??

Message: For the last 5K miles, i`m using 3923s w/ a minimum gap of .045.
The result is a less than smooth idle and a litle rougher departure when cold.
Seems like it works great on the higher side of the rpm.
Anyway, my next plugs will be either the E3 spark plug or HALOPLUG.
Check them at E3 spark plug and HALOPLUG.COM .
As TO THE 3923s, they don`t last more than 15 to 20K miles without the problems noted above.
I think i`m looking for more durability, and , why not those 3 to 5 extra ponies.
After all, my truck never pre detonated, so i don`t think i need colder plugs like the 3923s.
Actually, don`t they work some how like a time retardant?
Can`t wait to get these new plugs.
