Don't know about that, I have a 2001 Dak with a 4.7L, and I don't see what the differance is between a 2001 and a 2002. but anyhow, I have the Jeep HO cams, and you can definetly feel a differance in power, I believe that you gain at least 13 - 15 HP in the peak, and about 25 - 27 Lbs of Tq in the peak. which will give you a little more grunt in the lowend, and I believe that the cams give you 5 - 10 Tq in the whole Rpm Range.

what was different about the 2002s?

I believe you will see a gain. Are you sure it says the cams, and not that you won't see a gain from the intake ? If the cams didn't offer a gain to all non-HO 4.7s those years should be rated at a higher HP and torque from the factory. Note that they are not.

I agree with Kowalski. they mean the intake manafold. as I heard it they use the HO manifold on the 03 and up and are better than the older HO intakes. the cams will give you an increase in HP and tourqe. atleast one guy put them in his 03 dak and can tale a major differnece in his engine now.
