I have a 2000 quad w/4.7 and auto trany.No inspections here in GA. so I installed Gibson headers,flowmaster 40's,no cats, and a X pipe using 2.5 pipe.Ran out to the back.Sounds great and can tell difference by way of seat of pants driving.Don't know of improvement in mpg because I can't keep my foot out of throttle.
