I bought a used 99 Dakota R/T. It has a Powerdyne on it. I have a couple of questions.
First, there is an outlet on the cover that fits over the carb. It seems like there should either be a plug or a hose hooked up to it. I don't see any disconnected hoses. Should it be plugged? Should there be a hose connected? I believe the prior owner also upgraded to an M1(?) intake. I can email or post a pic, but there is simply a little stub coming off the plastic hat sitting on top of the carb. It is pointing towards the windshield and definitely looks like it supposed to be either plugged or have a hose connected.
Second, I replaced the power steering pressure line several months ago. That may have been a mistake as it appears that the reservoir or entire power steering pump is bad. Is this common? It looks fairly easy to replace, and I picked up one from Autozone. Just looking for any advice/tips.

Message: Thanks. I realize I inappropriately called the TB a carb. It is just so much more carb looking than my vette TB. I had even pulled some of the injectors to inspect them!
I do have a Powerdyne, so I assume I would not want the valve cover breather line hooked up to that as it would be getting pressurized as opposed to having a vaccum?
I did get the PS pump replaced, and all is good there.
