Message: I have a Reg. cab, and was wondering if any model ever came with an aluminum driveshaft, or if anyone knows where I could find one, for a 2001 R/T

Message: Why would you think it would twist? Most new vehicles come stock with them and high hp drag racers use them.

Message: yeah, hey, I SAW all those. none answered my question. so F u ck off. thanks to all others that posted SOMETHING positive. anyways, I am NOT getting any answers still, I am looking for a Gen3 REGULAR cab driveshaft in aluminum... google isn't much help either, so don't bother suggesting it. I KNOW that the quads and clubs came with them as a weight reduction thing... don't see why the factory thought that would be best, but anyways...
an aluminum driveshaft is just as strong, its just lighter, reducing the amount of inertia, and torque/Hp lost to parasitic loss in the drivetrain. looks like I'll end up getting a club cab driveshaft and having it cut it fit mine.
