There is NO WAY this would work.
When I furst saw it on ebay, I thought this was a induced drafe assembly for a furnace. it sure looks like one anyway!

Message: Lots of BS in that ad, all right.
"The motor is not a small computer motor or the likes, it runs on 12vdc. which is what your car produces. the output is 49,000 volt!!!!!! with a low 4.3 amp rating."
He probably meant 49000rpm. I'm skeptical.
Only 52 Watts power draw. Hmmm...
240cfm output for the largest 4" size?
Oh, if only my poor engine could get to 8750rpm....

Message: wow a turbonator with a fan inducer motor! and it keeps low airflow with static pressure. does that make sence? 1" of static pressure wouldnt even let your throttle blade close!

Message: "The DM BLOWER uses professional third-party testing and certification using Underwriter's Laboratories UL 1128, a 31 part analysis that includes testing of salt spray corrosion resistance, humidity exposure resistance, vibration and shock resistance, housing and fan durability, low and high temperature performance, ignition protection, capacity, locked-rotor and blocked-inlet performances. Meets or exceeds ABYC H-2, NMMA Certified USCG 33 CFR Sections 183.410 and 183.425 as well as ISO 9097. CONSTRUCTION"
Yet nothing about any "claimed" performance gains.
"Hard case cars are those sport compacts that fall through the cracks in the industry and consequently get zero love in the aftermarket. Not a bolt-on to be had, these cars rely on the "universal" parts to conjure higher-flowing exhaust systems or intakes. Heck, most owners are lucky to find a good set of tuner wheels."
Yeah because custom wheels are model specific....sure.
"Acceleration performance is enhanced before your engine reaches top RPM"
Thats a bonus, my turbo only makes "enhanced" performance above redline.....great ...wish I could bump my redline up so I could enjoy the added power from my turbo...
" This is why The DM Blower was designed not to give an enormous amount of air flow, but rather the design is concentrated on providing high static pressure. Increased air density is the key to increased engine performance. Anything else is just blowing air at your engine."
So air flow means nothing??? its an air densifyer?? lol. what happens when you try "cramming" 240cfm of air into you 360ci engine?? yeah hmm....doesn't that motor flow more then that at idle?
"This is not like all the other electric turbo's and supercharger's notice the round inlet and outlet. the way your factory and all aftermarket intake tubes are"
bonus, less fabrication yeah....
" The DM BLOWER is obviously not made out of cheap components. The motor is very powerful. Look around and see how many people can get you this much power for this price "
I think you can find a used sneeky pete kit for cheaper then that, and it's will give you about 20 more hp....

Message: I thought you all would like that.
That's a stamped centrifugal blower wheel. MAX RPM's would be 1075 or so. There is NO WAY it could turn 10k RPM's yet alone 49K!
That damn thing would cause more of a hinderance than an increase. This guy has flooded the searches in eBay.
I can't beleive he had a seller rating of "2". He'll be gone soon. Oh yeah. I used the "ask a seller a question" feature. I asked him if he was joking with that thing. I wonder what his response will be?

United States Coast Guard approved??? when was the last time anyones car or truck saw any serious time on the water... LOL
Did you notice the dyno sheet, no improvement up to 5000 RPM, then they spun the engine up to 9000 RPM on the "blower" run... it's laughable!
Maybe the "blower" blew the engine up to 9000 RPM?

Message: DSW,
That motor redlines at about 8,600rpm stock, so pusing it to 9,000 is stuipid but not unheard of. There are a few things wrong with that dyno chart, it's far from being accurate.
regardless that thing is stuipid and not even worth the plastic it was made from....
