Subject: miles and supercharger IP: Logged
Message: how well does the 4.7 hold up to boost? I have a 80,000 miles on my 00 dakota and I have been seriously contemplating picking up a supercharger for it. I would just like to get her to pick up some more ooomph. For the longest time I have wanted to get a lightning, but i really want the 4-wheel drive and i love the way my truck looks. I know i wont be able to hold a candle to a lightning even after the supercharger, but she will deffinately be alot more fun to drive.
thanks

Message: Don't sell the truck. It should hold up fine.

Message: Don't get crazy with the boost without upgrading fuel and internals, and you'll be fine.
Hang with a Lightning? ha
The stock kits should work fine with your ride, and what better time to freshen up the motor and shoot for more boost?
