depends what your after.

hypertech III allows 87 or 93 octane fuel. I just installed mine. Seat of the pants. It does make a difference. However, i have the following mods already. 180 thermostat, msd ignition, accell coil, msd wires, cold air intake, flowmaster exhaust.

I think with all those mods and the hypertec does make a difference.

From all the threads i have read about non-of the other tuners does anything except for the mopar pcm. I'd have to disagree. Don't have a dyno to confirm but there is diffinetly a seat of the pants difference.

Drove it full throtle before the program. Remembered the take off and mid-throtle torqe feel. Then did the 87 octane program. Yes, there is a difference. Pulls a lot harder.

You may not get the additional performance, if the intake and exhaust are not opened up.

Just my 2 cents.

I wasn't aware they made a Mopar PCM for the '01. I have never seen on for the '01 only '92-'00. Mancini racing is where I got mine they list it a $329. So if it is real then you can find a better deal.

RC R/T, PPH headers, Flowmaster 50, No Cat, MSD 6a, BTM, IAT adjuster, Powerdyne Supercharger, M-1 4/2, Mopar PCM

Read up on the Hypertech III programer. I know with all the others, you have to go with premium fuel. Which is kinda expensive now days. The hypertech allows me to switch from regular fuel program or premium fuel program.

I like this feature, because, it won't break the bank.
