Message: Superchips Max Tuner Group Buy!
This Max Tuner is for Dodge 4.7L 1999 to 2003 only.
The selling price is $305 per unit. California residents subject to sales tax.
Here’s how to order, send an e-mail to Superchips_gb@connercc.com or just Superchips@connercc.com either one will work. In the e-mail put only your full name, e-mail address and phone number. DO NOT put credit card or checking account information in this e-mail as it is not secure. You will need to give this information to the vendor when he contacts you. The unit has not been released as yet, but we are building an order list in advance of the release. No money will change hands until delivery is known.
After sending the requested information to the above e-mail address, the system will send you a receipt, keep it. It will also contain the vendor information that is making us this great deal.
Thanks
Derrick

Message: I emailed them a while back. They expected a tuner around November or so.
I'm still waiting. They are the only ones so far that even claims to be working on the 4.7 tuners (supposedly have them in testing).
Keep us informed. I KNOW they will sell as long as they don't get TOO overpriced. $305 is cheaper than the Hypertech I believe.

Message: stylin,
Different PCMs. In 04 they moved to a PCM/TCM in a single box, where as the prior models had a seperate PCM and TCM.

Message: Mine's a 2003 and the TCM is built into my PCM. But supposedly the programmer will work on the 2003. From what they told me anyway.

Message: Well thay SAID what they were working on would work on my '03 so I sure hope so. I've got the PCM with the 4 plugs.
The TCM being internal or not may not even have any effect on the programmer, I hope.
The programming might be similar in the PCM's for all 4.7's. In that case we should be able to make the same adjustments such as speedo corrections for gear/tire swaps, rev limiter moved up (oh yeah!) and some other tweaks.
I'd sure save my pennies for one of these if they actually even come out. If rumor is correct about test 4.7's already being done, then it should be a done deal once it passes tests, etc.

Message: From what I've read, there may be a problem with catching/modifying the TMR signal in the single PCM/TCM controllers. But we will have to see.
I am also expecting/hoping that the mods will include upping the shift points for the auto. I would love to have the TCM leave the shift points more aggressive, rather then have to drive that way all the time to keep it from learning the more conservative way.

Message: My auto shifts pretty damn hard when I'm on the gas. It feels like it wants to bark my tires at times and deffinitely spins dirung the shift if it's wet at all. A TMR may not need much modifying. I just want the rev limiter moved up and some other mods.

Message: I think the programmer could wake some power out of these baby's.
Some times it seems that mine gives me more performance than other times. Especially after I towed for a while or something. The shift points and response is higher. I know of course some would be relative (in my mind) to simply NOT towing but there are factors I can tell like it smoking the tires a little too easy, etc.
The PCM is probably set more to tune MPG than performance.
