There's two people on the DML running them. How do they compare? No one has any Dyno data (or flow comparisons) to compare them.
However, they do come in two different flavors:
(1) Uses the stock sensors
(2) Custom sensors (requires reprogramming - not for the normal street Dak)
I've spoken with the one who has been behind the Holley TB's and they are a nice piece of work...I would love to get my hands on one for Dyno testing though...they don't want to let one go for a comparison against the Flometrics. (Wonder why...hmmmmmmmm.) ;)

Message: Thanks for the info Bernd.
I want to upgrade to a 52mm TB from the Quick D 50mm I am now using. Since I installed a cam and a 2 barrel M1 intake I now feel a larger TB would be a good investment. I'm shopping around and getting as much info before I decide which one to go with. Magnum, Hughes, Fastman, Flometrics, Holley, what would you recommend ?

Message: I have one of the 52mm holley throttle bodies. Beautiful piece of work. Can't give you dyno numbers because I reside overseas. Definite power improvement over my stock throttle body which had been slightly worked on i.e. air horns removed. I received it with no sensors, and the price was $437.00 from Summit Racing. I have a 1995 5.2L with pacesetter headers, Flowmaster American Thunder cat-back, and K&N GenII intake

Kevin,
Do you have any pictures of it?? I'd love to see what it actually looks like. :)
As for the Magnum Performance, Hughes, Fastman, Flometrics, Holley, throttle body question:
(1) Magnum Performance - Nice work, but too expensive for the results achieved.
(2) Hughes - Fastman "knock-off"
(3) Fastman (QuickD) - Excellent TB for the price
(4) Flometrics - Billet, Sealed Roller bearings, anodized for longevity - Excellent TB
(5) Holley - Uhhhh....Kevin? ;)

The factory TB's are built for Dodge by Holley to Dodge specs. The stamping doesn't mean anything special.
If you want to see if it's an aftermarket TB, check the blades and bores:
Brass Blades and/or 45-degree radius around the bore opening is more than likely a Fastman TB.
Blue or Silver blades with distinct machine swirls on the top is more than likely an older F&B cast 50mm TB.

Message: I ordered a Hughes stage II TB.Piece of junk. The shaft would bend downward whenever the engine was running and the blades would get wedged in the bore, sticking the throttle in whatever position it was last in (as in WOT!!!) very dangerous!!! It idled at 1,200. I sent it back as defective and the jerk charged me $68 for a restocking charge! One more company on my ever increasing list of people I won't do business with again!!!
Avoid these people like the plague!!!
