anyone have any opions on the best way to improve horse power and gas milage with out spending a butt load of money? I am considering a chip or programer but nobody offers it for the 4.7L
I have a 2001 dakota 4x4.

all i have done to my 4.7 is put on a gibson sport truck exhaust, tornado fuel saver, and k&n dropin filter. filter was $50,exhaust $350, tornado doesn't do anything waist of money. have no dyno results done but increase horsepower somewhat. gas mileage 12mpg.don't expect anything to save on gas unless you always keep you foot out of it.

Do a quick search. You'll find nearly 100 posts from the last couple of weeks on that same subject. Some of them have very good ideas, and debunk some old wives tales.
