I know the last years that the mopar performance PCM was available it had to be flashed with the VIN & mileage to avoid any problems. Now I've heard of people who had the mopar perf. PCM and switched back to their old stock one for whatever reason but wouldn't the mileage no longer match with the stock PCM? How important is the mileage flash? I've noticed KRC's website sells the mopar PCM's and will flash the VIN for an extra charge but doesn't mention anything about the mileage. Just wondering from anyone out there who's switched their PCM's from time to time if they've encountered any problems.

The mileage is stored in thc CAB not the PCM. Switching the PCM will not affect the mileage indication.
