Subject: Warning! TruckPerformance.com IP: Logged
Message: Warning to all considering ordering for here. I did and I'm sorry. Of 3 items ordered, only 1 was shipped on time, 1 was never sent (they claimed it was in the box with the other item) and the third item arrived 4 weeks late and was the wrong part. All attempted calls and emails have been unsuccessful and I've gotten no indication that they even care about service. Thank God the one part I got was the most expensive. I only lost around $70, but I'm sure they will lose much more in lost sales.

Message: I have had good luck with TruckPerformance for the most part. My items have been on time or early. The last thing I bought were the PowerSlot rotors but they were the wrong ones. It was their fault, it was PowerSlot, they actually sent them, Chevy rotors with the Dodge part numbers on the box. They returned them with any hassels.

Message: I bought a K&N Gen II from them for $180.xx shipped. It took about a week to get it, but it was packed nicely (i think it was drop shipped from K&N), but regardless, it came on time as expected.
That's my only purchase from them thus far, but so far i've got good things to say about them too.

Message: I’ve spent a few hundred dollars there and everything came as expected. The only thing that I had any problems with was some colored bulbs. They didn’t have them in stock and it took 5 weeks for them to be drop shipped. It wasn’t their fault. Their customer service was good each time I called them to ask about the backorder. I am still doing business with them today.

Message: I bought a Sway bar from them no problem and underdrive pulleys, no problem, but I did by a full Belltech Suspension from them and they called me and said it would take a few extra weeks to get and I told them I would rather just cancel my order and they charged me over $50 dollars re-stocking fee for something they didn't even have in stock and that was going to be drop shipped from Belltech, I was pissed about that and then it took 1 month exactly to get my $500 back on my credit card and about 10 phone calls. I didn't like that at all. You be the Judge...

Say no more. I just ordered a Gibson from them, and I'll post on the results, but I wish I'd read this info last night. I guess it could be worse, but I happen to live about 15 miles from them, and can be quite the terrorist if I'm ripped off.

Message: I've used them twice, first time had a order delayed because they were doing inventory and never said there would be a extra 3 days in shipping time (they did drop the shipping charge)
2nd time, great service, early arrival on the part and $20 cheaper than Summit's price, yet Summit beat them by $15 on another part (BTW, Summit and IntensePerformance parts come real quick, ordered on a Friday, got both on the following Monday)

Message: They screwed me over too. I ordered a Borla cat-back from them which was in stock according to them, it never came. I waited 2 months before calling them and canceling the order and then ordering from performancecombos.com. Their prices are good, but their service sucks balls

Message: I despise Truckperformance.com. I ordered new headlights and step bars which arrived in a relatively short amount of time. Then I ordered SS Grille Inserts and they gave me the run around saying they shipped when they didn't. It took at least 2 months to get the mess straightened up and that's only because I got one of the managers extensions and let me tell you, he knows my name now. I put them on my "never buy from again" list.

Message: The problem is, these guys don't actually stock merchandise - they take your order, but another parts company (could be Summit, NAPA, Billy Joe Ray’s Parts Bunker of West Hollywood - whoever they've contracted with) actually fulfills it. CarParts.com is the exactly same.
When everything works, it great and cheap and fast, but - if something goes wrong - you have to go up the chain to get a resolution, with TruckPerformance.com in the middle. Everything must go: You --> TruckPerformance --> Billy Joe Ray --> TruckPerformance --> You. If it’s lost or damaged, put UPS in the middle of it all.
Yeah, right.

Four days... I'd say that's FINE service.
Intenseperformance.com took only THREE days to get my PowerStack filter to me.

Message: FOLLOW-UP: I got a call from "Mike" the GM a week after my last message. "Has everything been resolved?" NO. Ok, let me see what I can do.... Next day, right tailgate protector arrives by overnight mail, call promises that wires have been shipped and should be delivered by mid next week. Now I'm 2 for 3 and feeling much better. He wanted to know who I spoke to and why they didn't fix the problems... Maybe they're not so bad! If the last part comes as promised, I will order again and post the results. I hate to have it go on this long, but it seems they are trying to set things straight.... I hope I've been the exception to the rule, judging by other posts, service seems mixed at times, but the prices are really good.

Message: Ordered a specific Air Intake System on sale from Truck Performance and received confirmation for it at the correct price. Received a second confirmation a couple days later for twice as much, and the air filter was not what I ordered when I received it. Now they say the first confirmation I got is no good which had the correct sale price and it is going to cost a 20% restock fee. These people are crooks and apparently make a killing selling people what they haven't ordered and don't want. BEWARE

Message: I have made numerous orders through them and have been satisfied with their service. My only complaint is that they stopped shipping to APO addresses. Since I am stationed overseas that means they will not ship to me. Oh well I think I have all I want now anyway, I had to get my Y-pipe elsewere. I got some great prices from them in the past and would continue to use them if they still shipped to me.

Message: They suck..if they haven't got you yet, they will! I ordered a Hypertech Power Module from them and I got it OK, but I had to send it back three times. Everytime I installed it the truck would either not start or stall shortly after starting. Well, after the third time of having it "adjusted" I told them I was going to send it back and wanted a refund. They said "cool" gave me a confirmation # and told me my money will be re-deposited in my account. Two weeks passed..no money..a month passed..no money, called them everyday and they kept telling me it was refunded got tired of that and filed a complaint with the Better Business B. against them. And to this day (its been over a year now) NO MONEY! I'm not telling anyone to not use them but just be careful and cover your a**! Thats all I have to say about that! Peace.

Message: How about Speedtweaks? There has been alot of posts about them recently, not shipping products that have been paid for, not replying to emails and not answering or not returning phone calls. I have learnt the hard way about these types of companies before and one of the best way to order parts on the internet or phone is to contact the manufacturer of the item and buy dirrectly form them (they most of the time have the best price or will beat the lowest price you have found elsewhere) or if they will not sell dirrectly to you, ask them for a reputable seller. They never like to here bad things about there products and dealers. Also when dealing with manufacturers and dealers is to always get the first and last name of who you are talking with, just in case there is a problem later.

Message: I must say Premier Automotive is an excellant comapnny. Jonas is a great guy. He's always very helpful. The MTX loaded sub box has been my favorite so far. 2nd would be the HO cams I also ordered from them.
I've also ordered from truckperformance.com. Not one complaint there either. In fact I always get my order 2 days before there delivery date. That being said...I'm sure all companies make mistakes. That doesnt mean that they are out to steal your money.
