Message: This place just plane and simple sucks! I ordered an exhaust and was sent the wrong one and the company said they would reimburse me the cost of shipping the product back and never did. Then they charged my CC without autorization for more money in order to ship me the correct part. Do not buy anything from this company. Plane and simple I would never ever buy anything from here even if they were the only dealer! This place just plane and simple sucks!

Message: I had a problem with Truckperformance also.
I resolved it by calling 2x a day until they
refunded me the money that they said they
would. You won't get anything from them unless
you make it happen.

Message: Was going to buy some side steps (3" bars) for my '03 Dakota from Truck Performance, but after reading these messages of gloom and doom, I decided not to deal with these people. Instead I went to:
www.123TruckAccessories.com
It a good thing that I did. 123 had the same steps from the same manufacturer (Westin) for about $57 LESS. Delivery was in 4 days.

Message: I spent time on the phone with TruckPerformance.com, explaining the need for speed on this order. These parts are for my tow vehicle, and I have a race in three weeks. They called back, saying they had the part ready to ship, but 2 day was not feasible -It would take 2 days to get the parts from the factory to them, so ground would be faster.
A week later, I called for a tracking #, as my parts did not arrive. They called and left a message with 'good news', the parts would ship the following Monday - after talking with the original sales rep, He agreed to ship 2 day because they dropped the ball. I cancel a race weekend, losing sponsor and tow money, and shrug it off.
I then get a shipping notice, saying the parts shipped ground, expected delivery in 10 days. I cancel another race date, and lose a sponsor for the season. I still don't have my parts!
The original sales rep will not return my calls, and His office mates do not appear to be qualified to answer the phone, much less questions about the order.
Bottom line, If you order from these guys, expect a month or more for delivery, regardless of the sales rep's claims.

Message: Yeah, I've had a roughly similar experience with my exhaust and air intake. It stayed in "shipping from manufacturer" for a good two weeks before the bloody things finally shipped. Then it took another week or so for it to finally get to my house. I called them and told them it would be nice to have some sort of notice on the website whether that product was in-stock and could ship that day or whether it had to be shipped direct from the manufacturer. They still haven't taken my advice..
Other than that, I've ordered some shocks from them and they came within a few days. I guess some parts are just easier for them to manage than others. Jegs and Summit always had my parts to me within a week max though. Go figure. TruckPerformance does have really good prices though and you can find good clearance sales sometimes too; just don't expect to get it in a week or less.
Really sorry to hear it hit you in such a bad way though with the sponsor, etc. Hope it all works out!

Message: Sounds like a seriously ongoing problem.
If you have trouble resolving problems, many radio and most TV stations have consumer reporters, with staff there to resolve problems.
No company wants bad press, so they will usually fix the problem.
The H-Bomb of resolvers of problems is; www.troubleshootertom.com. Tom Martino takes names and kicks butt.
