Message: Bernd, found this item for sale:
"Ported TB from the famous Bruce Bridges and Frank Halloway aka. B&F. This was one of thier stage I units from a little over a year ago. The unit has been used but works perfectly fine. Includes instructions and allen cap screws for mounting. Does not have a TB gasket. As far as I know this only works on a '96 5.2. Includes a TPS sensor."
Why wouldn't this work on a 95 5.2 and what do you know about this TB?

I know exactly which TB that is. They were on a "Group Buy" last year for $90 w/core exchange and about $200 without core. They're excellent pieces. (Not quite like the Billet TB's...but they work very well for a stock casting.)
How much is this person asking for it?

Will this work on a 95?

Message: Bernd, I can't find the directions to the S-bolt that you posted or on your website, what is that link again? The B&F TB does not come with one.
One more Q, along with the TB for sale, I also found a MSD 6A/Accel coil for $85. Came off a 95 V8 5 spd also. The same guy is selling a Mopar PCM for $100. With the PCM, MSD and TB, what type of gains can I expect? Is 30-40 hp possible?
I am concerned with the PCM, I am not a drag racer but yet I don't tow a lot so the drawback to having to always use 92 octane weighs more on me than the performance gains. Is this rational or will the mpg increase offset the cost of 92 octane gas (I always use midgrade now)?
Oh yeah, how much did you open up the gap on your spark plugs after installing the MSD?

$100?? GET IT! (That's a good price for it without a core.) :)
With the MSD, PCM, and TB...i'd guess closer to about 20HP at the rear wheels max.
Gap the plugs .005" larger than stock. You can run them at .045" without any problems from the MSD...but you will need a good aftermarket coil for larger gaps. The factory coils only go so far before the spark deteriorates.

Message: Good, the guy still has it and I told him to send it my way.
The MSD 6A for sale comes with an Accel coil. Will .045 be the ideal gap on the 3923s I just put in? The MSD instruction should have a recommendation with it?
I found the S-bolt diagram link last night, thanks. Mr. Gasket makes a 1/4-20 stud assembly that is 5-3/4" long, comes with a wing nut for less than $2.00.

The instructions do come with a .005 - .010 larger recommendation...but i've tried up to .050" and it mis-fired at random with the .050" gap (MSD-6 w/Blaster-SS Coil). I ran them at .045" without the Supercharger and it never skipped a beat. (Currently run at .035" due to the higher cylinder pressures from the S/C.)

Message: Put in the S-bolt this afternoon. I was glad the Mr. Gasket was 5-3/4" b/c I boogered one end. (Don't have a vice, just had to rely on my 6'3" 220lb strength!) Just hacksawed off the bad 3/4" and it went right the stock TB with no problems.
Thanks Bernd.

Message: Bruce Bridges said the vacuum and throttle linkages were different between 95/96 so this TB won't work.
The MSD 6A was sold prior to my inquiry but I did manage to get the Mopar PCM. Was hoping to have a new TB to fully realize the PCMs gains.
Is there a good (read, not terribly expensive) TB for the 95s out there?

Wait a minute....Bruce made linkages for the '93 - '00 Dakota's on these. When did you talk to him about this?

Bernd,
Use the factory linkage and ignore the MIL when the evap system doesnt work. If Richard likes the results weve got 95 50mm & 48mm TBs ready by next
weekend! - Bruce

From what Bruce said (on the phone), that was for a factory TB...not the Billet. I'm receiving a billet version for a '95 sometime next week for my buddies '95 5.2L SLT.
