Message: The only reason I wouldn't switch over to Amsoil would be warranty issues. The dealer service department is going to look for any excuse not to replace your engine or tranny. If you used fluids that weren't approved by Dodge and didn't change them at their recommended schedules, you could be in for a warranty battle between DC and Amsoil.
Guess who gets stuck without a truck for a month while the dealer and Amsoil haggle over who is going to pay for the repairs. I would rather ride out the warranty period on the DC approved fluids and then swap over.
Seems kind of azz backwards to put 70-100K on a vehicle using inferior fluids, but who wants to shell out $5K for a blown engine or tranny, or wait weeks on end for the warranty dispute to be settled.
