I currently have a 3.55 LSD. I want to change to 4.10. What do I need to make this conversion and where can I get it? I know I sound like a complete newb, but that's because I am. :)

Thanks!

If you get the right centrepiece to fit the axle
that is really all you need , otherwise you
would need complete rear axle assy....

3.9 is a factory option, will help and might be cheaper and easier to find, if you don't find what you want easily.

All you need to do is swap the ring and pinion gear. Cost for parts is usually around $200 or so, and they are available from a lot of places.

If you have never done this kind of work before, I suggest you hire it out. It's a somewhat complicated job, and requires some special tools. If you're off by just a tad, you'll be doing it again very soon. A local shop will probably do it for you for around $100.

You might want to spring for new bearings while you're at it. Dodge carrier bearings have a nasty habit of failing early.
