But it's a Rear Wheel Dyno.
My third gear is 1:1 speedo and tach. I've heard others post that they dynoed my set up in 3rd gear, cause it's 1:1. Yea, it's a 5spd manual.
It would seem that using a RW dyno, the rear end gears would matter, Otherwise, I could have a 1:1 tranny gear, and have like 456's, and it would dyno the same as a 355 rear end, if they were both in the same gear.
What's up with that?

2000 4.7...Intense Performance intake, helix spacer, Gibson 3" exhaust, synthetic oil...206 horse at Atlanta Chassis...207 with a Jet Module on a 10 degree warmer day. Not worth the extra I was paying for 93 octane...speaking of...any opinions on running premium in a Dak with no chip?
Does it help any? Dynoed the same day as a R/T with headers and chip...he seemed irritated that my 4.7 made nine horse more then his 360.

Sorry about the slow response, guys. "Low tech" vacation last week, not even a TV... But I did have a Dodge mechanic shade tree HO cams on my '01 4.7 5-spd RC last week! I would like to see how my combination works out on a dyno someday: homebrew 3" alloy tubes to stock aibox/ K&N drop-in/ Fernco 4" inlet & no rubber flap/ Bosch Platinum +4/ Flowmaster 70 w/2 1/2" duals/ HO cams. I might try the IAT relocate or better-flow 68mm T-body next. I plead guilty to digging up good old posts myself, so its all good...(especially for the bandwidth!).

I did my dyno pull in drive with the OD off. Your right that you don't get much of a pull though. You have to make sure it does not kick down on you and for me i started the pull at around 100km and of course it kicked out at 160km. Dynoed at 265hrs and 317 lbs/ft. Kenne Bell supercharged. I did a few pulls before the installation and got 193 and 260. Does anyone know how i can post a video???? I took my camera for the last run if anyone wants to see it.

I had the identical mods and had it dyno'ed. I got a best of 209RWH using 3rd in my auto with OD off.
Next time tell the dyno tech to turn the key to bypass the speed limiter. It works just fine.
