Subject: need help... IP: Logged
Message: just bought a 97 4x4 club cab 5.2 v8 w/ 72k miles 3 in. lift with 33 in tires. live at high altitude and it is a dog!!! willing to spend $1000.00 or so to get some power. chips, programmers, intakes, exhaust, etc... where is my money best spent??

Message: I'm willing to bet there's still factory 3.55's in there. Go with 4.10's or at least some 3.92's to get it moving a bit better. Then get the air moving in and out. Intake, larger throttle body, headers, true duals, and a PCM. That'll wake it up and it's easy stuff to do.
