I have to give props to a red durango in Santa Clara CA, He took my 99 dakota RT like I was driving a yugo. I was at a red light next to a red durango, I began to instigate a quick friendly race, well he went for it, but went the light turned green We both took off and I could not keep up he left me about 1/2 a car lentgh,I dont know what he had under the hood, but he had something either a S/C or the bottle cuz he took off like a bat out of hell, so I have to give him PROPS!

What type of mods do you have on your Dakota besides the R/T package?

You told him he was "Number 1"?!? LOL ;)

Be careful of a '98 R/T ClubCab (Blue with Silver stripes and a Cowl hood). We finished the final "tweaks" on it last weekend and it's VERY capable of killing Lightnings. (We took care of one already on Lawrence Expressway on Saturday...hehehehe.)

He was talking about a "lightning quick" Durango. Not the Ford Lightning. But congrats anyways, stupid Fords.

My RT is stock no mods yet. I have the money to buy the nitrous but I just got done dealing with a expidition of speed ticket, This morning the judge gave me 2 points and a $270.00 fine so I dont think I will be driving my RT for a long time. I will stick with my slow company truck, and hold off on any mods and the bottle. I have tooken quite a few chevys and fords but that durango is the only thing that has impressed me in a long time. I will keep a eye out for youre dakota bernd, if you see a big yellow work truck with a comm air logo thats probly me working OT to pay my $270.00 fine.So all you guys be carefull out there those little pigs are out to give you a ticket, there just pissed cuz there driving a ford and envy our MOPARS.

Hey Mike,

On the eWay, there's no pedestrians allowed. Also, no one in front of us at the time (even on coming). We play around every now and then...but don't do it if it puts anyone else at risk...including the "opponent".

You'd have to be there to understand that though. Can't describe it over email.

Custom programmed PCM's are wonderful. No speed-limiter and 6000rpm redline. :)
