Does the Z-Tube come with the little air hose hook-up gimmick (sorry about the highly technical language) that the stock airbox has? I'm talking about the tube that picks up filtered air and sends it to God only knows where in the engine. I'm asking because I assume that the tube has something to do with the emissions system, and I'm not buying anything that is not emissions legal or cause the check engine light to come on.

Thanks,

Bernd-what do you think of the Z-tube,I'm thinking you have talked about this before, but I don't remember what you said about Hp gains. In my option,it looks like it would suck all the hot air from the engine compartment,I'm sure it would sound cool[no pun intended],but should I wait for K&N FIPK for my 4.7,HotRod dynoed a FIPK on the R/T and got 16 more hp.Any other person have facts on the FIPK.

I have looked at the stock setup and stuck my hand up in the baffle area before the TB.

However, I am in a lot of water sometimes. Do you guys think water could get up in teh filter with the Z-Tube?

Eric
