i have a 95 dakota 4x4 extended cab with a 318 and i installed a 2 inch performance accesories body lift on it so i figured i could easily get 31's under it so i bought some bf mud terrains and noticed it rubbed my wheel flares so i cranked the torsion bars the rest of the way ....but it still rubs when i turn and hit a bump or somethin so my question is ....does this mean my torsion bars are weak and if they are what can i do....just buy new ones?

unless bf mud terrains are bigger than other 31's, then it prolly is your bars. i have a '94 4x4 ex. cab 318 with 31" a/t's on it, and they don't rub, and i don't even have a body lift on it. does it sit noticeably lower in the front? if it looks pretty close to level, then i don't know what to tell you.

it dotn sit all that much lower in the front.....i have helper springs on the rear that keep my rear from sagging as much so it does sit a little higher in the rear

What do you have for rims? Rim width and offset play a major role in this equation.

i have unique 15x7 rims but i dont know what the offset is......how can i measure to see what it is

hey man if you dont haeve stock rims or stock size rims and they are a little bigger it will rub
