 Subject: Shocks for a 2002 4x4?

So far no one makes a nice set of shocks for the front and rear of my Dakota 4x4, 2002 Quad Cab. The stock shocks are terrible, to soft. I tried Rancho for a 2001 Dakota and the fronts dont fit,, approx 1 inch to long than stock and they didnt fit because of this, didnt waste time on the rears. So i got my money back,Rancho says they are doing a check fit at this time, I need shocks!!! Anyone know of another brand? Has anyone replaced there shocks on a 02 4x4 Dak?
