Well it's done! I received my Mopar PCM 2000 5.9 4x2 this morning and I had it installed in my 4x4 in less than 10 minutes. I didnt notice anything different at start-up and it idled smoothly. I took it out for a 75 mile drive (to use up the last of the 89octane) and everything seems to be working great. I only notice a small amount of pinging on hills (I already have the 180 Tstat installed) and I have since put only about 1 mile on the new tank of 91 Octane. The idiot light for the ABS and the Brake came on after about 1/2 mile and they have stayed on since, but I havent noticed anything different with these systems.
After being quoted $110.00 to have my vin flashed into the PCM, I think im going to leave it unflashed and deal with the idiot lights. At least I will be able to sell the unit later if I want to do that.
Now if I could only get rid of the full-time four wheel drive so that I could spin the tires!!!
