Yea Yea Yea, your killing me with all of these pictures of lifted trucks around here ...ohhh I`m on the off road board , no wonder . I`ve gotta stop coming here , or mine will be next...man the wife is going to kill me!

BTW , I still say that lift looks taller than 4.5 in, I think its because you don`t see the frame like the body lifts.Although I`ll be opting for the B-lift myself.

One thing I forgot to ask.. but u guys might be able to answer for me.. How do I adjust my Headlights?

As intresting as it is to see EVERYTHING in the cars in front of me I think the people are getting pissed at me. I even had a jag pull behind me and turn on it's brights.. funny thing is they weren't even in my mirrors.. ahh how nice it is to be above these little cars. ;-)

Knobby... its really easy. The best thing to do is go out and buy a torques driver(??) (looks just like a screw driver w/a star head) The size is T20. They're like 5 bucks or something and will come in handy for future adjustments!

To adjust the headlight, there are a couple of screws between the light housing and the body that adjust. I put my truck in front of a wall with the lights on (about a car length away) and put tape on the "beam line" at the stock point. This way you can gauge the beams equally. I keep the torque driver in my console in case I have a heavy load and adjust the beams once in a while.

K man, I do the same all the time. My 90' is 9 inches taller than it was stock. And I beam everyone. And I have had people do the bright lights thing behind me too. So I finally hooked up a 55 watt 5in light looking back from my rear bumper. I just flick the switch and shine the hell outa the person behind me. Its fun watching their reaction when they realize no matter ahead or behind, I can get em! Most of them just roar ahead of me going 20 mph over the speed limit. Isnt lifting fun!!!

That's the plan once I get my roof rack on.. Put 2 lights up there facing backwards :-) should be fun.

Hope someone comes out with a lift soon. Maybe a set of extended shackles as well. Can't afford a 'Customized' lift. ; )

Knobby - Lift looks great! Glad it's finally done.
Question: From the before/after pics, you can defiantly see the difference in clearance in the front, but the rear does not look like you gained that much....? What are the actual numbers? How much did you gain n both front and rear?

No Still rubbing.. It's been sitting in the parking lot anyway so I guess it's not really rubbing.... The guy that helped me out and came out to my house to do a welding job that the orignial installer messed up. He's going to do the grinding and welding for me probably this weekend. I just have to get some beer for him and alittle $$. He charges $50 a hour.. OUCH! I really need to learn how to weld.

I just had an observation and I hope this is just the angle the picture was taken.

Knobby,
Did your rear Axel get moved forward? It looks like, in the picture, that the tire sits further forward in the wheel well, not centered.???

Hope it is just the angle!!!

Did anyone else notice this?

No matter it still look great Bud!!!!

Actually .. the Rear tire would have moved forward.. but only ever so slightly.. Good eyes on your part mostly. If I compressed the back end of my truck to the same height as a stock truck it would be centered again.

Hehe.. My truck can only look good.. cuz I'm not driving it anytime soon :-p
