Yup, I broke my truck. Bigtime broke. That spot where the front diff used to be? Well it aint there anymore. Completely shattered the housing. There is a 4x4in chunck of housing sitting on my mechs desk. How did I do it? Crushing a Toyota! I was backing down off of it when **POW**. Got her back on solid ground and hopped out to check the damage. Big pool of gearoil under the front. Got a light and dang near crapped my pants. I was looking at the RING GEAR. Looked good by the way. :)
Soo, looks like the time table on my next mod just got moved up. Solid axle swap time!
Ill get some pictures up just as soon as I can.

Crushin a Toyota huh? You are my Hero! That's a nasty little mishap...what the hell were you doin on a Toyota in the first place? What year truck do u have and what upgrades? Have fun with the solid axle approach, i hear Dana 44's work pretty well... : )

Actually the diff never touched the yota. It basically just came apart. Oh, and the truck is a 98 CC with a 360 5spd, 8.5 inches total lift, 36in rubber, 3.55 gears. Goto www.zebra.net/~daniel/goat.html for some pics.
Why be on a yota? Why not? ;)
On the axles, were going 2-1/2 tons, front and rear. :)
